About me

I am a copy, treatment and travel writer found at http://ollydavy.com/

Why are you here?

I discovered 26 when I attended a Dark Angels course with John Simmons and Stuart Delves. This experience catalysed my leap from full time employment to dressing gown wearing freelance insecurity. I’ve never looked back.

I’m thrilled to join 26 and hope to connect with members soon. I love working from home but on the commute between the kitchen and my office I tend not to meet many creative individuals with whom I can share ideas and inspiration.

What do you do?

Copywriter: Helping companies find their voice and tell their story. Creating content for websites, blogs and social media. Clients include: U-Dox and Forster Communications.

Treatments: Writing pitches for TV and online advertising campaigns with production companies and directors in the UK and Europe. Clients include: Another Film Company, Bare Films, Henry and Just So. Brands include: Asda, Crédit Agricole, Disneyland, L’Oréal and Mini.

Travel: Published travel writer and blogger specialising in adventure travel. My work appears in the Daily Telegraph, the Toronto Star and Escapism, among others.

What do you want?

As a member of 26 I’d like to connect with likeminded people and find work opportunities. I’m especially excited at the prospect of meeting another treatment writer. I’ve never even seen one and I’m not convinced they exist.
